This script demonstrates simple control of the CED 3505 attenuator via serial line and sinewave generation from DAC 0 of a 1401. Running the script will allow you to: set the attenuation level, generate random noise, generate sinusoidal waveforms, change the headphone outputs, mute the attenuator, and send your own manual commands using the serial control instructions.
These scripts demonstrate the functionality of your CED 3505 Attenuator and provide examples of communication using serial control instructions. Each script has been produced in Spike2 version 10 to control the CED 3505, dependant on the compatibility of your hardware and software. We recommend you read your hardware handbook for a better understanding of the serial control instructions, as well as the instructions at the beginning of each script. ×
