This interfaces to the MX2 and CLC data acquisition systems supplied and supported by Data Sciences Inc., most of which use short range telemetry to collect various types of data (EKG, EMG, respiration, BP) from untethered animals.

02/2024	1.14	This version generates more user-friendly default channel titles. The information saved in the optional log file is extended and tidied. The parameters used to control timing drift analysis have been changed so that time differences are averaged over a longer period. An error report during sampling (such as an implant signal detected on the wrong receiver) caused sampling from the DSI talker to cease.

07/2023	1.13	This release of DSITalk has been updated to support the new TalkerPath command and has adjusted drift analysis parameters to match the new mechanisms in Spike2 and Signal. In addition it now supports generating log file output in the same manner as other talkers.

03/2021	1.11	This version improves on 1.10 by being built with an updated version (3.2) of the DSILINK support software which includes many improvements, including support for the Signal hardware.

02/2019	1.10	This is the first version of DSITalk to require a license to be installed in Spike2 in order for it to be used. It adds a connection settings dialog which can be used instead of command-line parameters to set the Spike2 machine name and a new drift compensation options dialog which can be used to fine-tune the drift compensation system and generate debug information. It handles high resolution monitors better and has a standard status bar that displays useful information. This version of DSITalk was built using a later version (1.9) of the DSILINK support software which includes many other improvements.
